Coming up this Sunday on Under British Skies, at 9pm BST (8pm GMT). We will be talking all things planetary, including a beginners guide. Also very interesting interview with Damien Peach, a top UK planetary imager.
Nick Howes talks to us on kit maintenance of all your astronomical equipment during the summer months. Very important!
In this evening program we are covering most aspects of our Sun. One rare major event occurred on June 8, 2004, which was the transit of Venus. I was privileged to observe this with members of Croydon Astronomical Society at RAF Kenley, 14 miles South of the City of London. More on this tonight, but here are many pictures we took of the transit.
