The spring sky is full of galaxies of all shapes and sizes - from the many galaxies in Ursa Major (including M81 and M82), through Canes Venaticorum (Whirlpool and Sunflower Galaxies), Leo (the "Leo Trio"), Coma Berenices (the "Black Eye" Galaxy) and Virgo (Sombrero Galaxy and the Virgo Cluster) - over 30 Messier galaxies, and many more in the NGC and IC lists.
What are the different types of galaxies? How did they develop their different shapes? And what does their future hold?
Join us on Sunday night April 25 at 9 pm EDT (0100 UT on April 26) when Sky Safari travels deep into space to explore "The Wonder of Galaxies"!
