AFM*Radio has a new home page dedicated to all things AFM*Radio. Here, you’ll find the broadcast schedule, featured events, individual pages for our entire radio lineup, and more. Welcome to the new AFM*Radio microsite – always just one click away from Astronomy.FM!
On this new AFM*Radio site, there are a number of new features:
- Popup and other player options
- Podcasts integrated with ITunes (Hint: go to the Podcasts section of Itunes and search on Astronomy.FM.) Or, you can play them from the post in which they appear.
- RSS feeds for Radio posts and Podcasts
- Program descriptions for AFM’s original shows, as well as the syndicated content that we carry
- New site design using our new logo – the main Astronomy.FM site will also use this new design in the future
- Comments and questions regarding radio events can be made as comments to event posts
This new microsite is currently in development and will continue to grow through the coming weeks. We would very much like your feedback and ideas for making all of the Astronomy.FM website better. You can leave a comment, write a post in the forum, or email us at radio@astronomy.fm.

Very odd distortion in your sound on my iMac. Particularly bad with iTunes, but still there in Flash player. Sounds like over-mod on Marcia’s mic. Or perhaps you guys really are aliens that just synthesize human voices? Nah.

Doug, thanks for the report. I’m monitoring here on both a PC and a MacBook Pro and I don’t hear any distortion at this particular time. Do you recall what time you were listening and to what show?
Thanks!
Rob Keown
Rob, I am listening to Uk Astrotalk, time now 1119 GMT.
There appears to an echo on when people talk.
Not too sure if its from the program or the player itself.

Thanks Paul. We’re looking into it.
Paul, that is in the recording of Astrotalk UK!
Thanks, everything seems to be OK. As you said, it was the recording of Astrotalk UK.
Doing a bit of net surf and discovered your website seems to be a bit screwed up in my K-meleon web browser. Although fortunately hardly anyone uses it anymore but you might want to look into it.
